You're a rookie Ore Miner, out in Space helping your Uncle Jeb with his little mining business. There's a huge corporation out to crush Jeb through any means necessary and it's up to you to beat them.
Your space craft is a rattly old hunk of junk, but it can be upgraded as you make money from mining ore. Ore is found by blasting asteroids, and picking up any ore you find left behind. Upgrades are necessary to survive in the increasingly dangerous asteroid clouds of Space Miner: Space Ore Bust, which contain more than peaceful lumps of rock!
Asteroids has been done to death, but even without the RPG elements, Space Miner: Space Ore Bust does it really well. The graphics are absolutely gorgeous, and are accompanied with some great sound effects. This HD iPad version looks even better than the original, with graphics that really shine. The story and role playing game leveling up give the proceedings purpose, and make Space Miner: Space Ore Bust really addictive.
Space Miner: Space Ore Bust's touch screen controls work really well, and games are automatically saved which is ideal for playing on the go when you may have to stop at any moment. Another neat feature is Space Miner: Space Ore Bust allows you to play your own music from your iPod collection.
Space Miner: Space Ore Bust is a great improvement on the Asteroids genre. It's a huge game, and an excellent mix of arcade action and role playing strategy.
